Jeffrey graduated the Registered Massage Therapy program with honours at CDI South Surrey in 2023. He completed 2,750 hours of courses and hands-on clinical practice in student clinic and cross-fit gyms.
Before entering into the program, he was also employed as a mobile kinesiologist and community support worker, allowing him to gain valuable experience working with people with acquired brain injury and MVA clients from ICBC.
Jeffrey follows an evidence-based approach to massage and believes massage therapy can greatly impact well-being by improving sleep, decreasing chronic pain, boosting immune function, and managing stress level.
He has a passion to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle while knowing the risks and limitations of injury. His optimistic energy and goal-oriented attitude allow him to positively influence his clients along their path to recovery and optimal lifestyle.
He loves that massage therapy gives him the opportunity to work with various groups of clients and assist them to reach their goal. His treatment includes Myofascial release, Trigger point release, Joint mobilization, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Muscle energy technique, Swedish/deep tissue massage, and home care exercises.
Outside of work, Jeffrey is an avid fisherman. He also finds enjoyment playing badminton, hiking, cooking and traveling.
Jeffrey is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
