Jason completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2004. During his studies at SFU, he also obtained a certificate in Health and Fitness studies. He also completed two additional years of co-operative education in kinesiology which helped him to gain enormous experience in the field of active rehabilitation, ergonomics and health/fitness. Jason has been a practicing member of BCAK since 2005.
Jason started off his career working with ICBC clients providing active rehabilitation to maximise their recoveries and help them return to pre-injury conditions. Since 2008, Jason has been working in WorkSafeBC programs such as Occupation rehabilitation, Hand therapy, Return to work coordination, and Pain management program. Jason has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge to help with client’s recoveries.
Jason has also been giving a lot back to his field of studies. He has been mentoring and sharing his knowledge and experience with Kinesiology students from SFU, University of Fraser Valley, and Douglas College over the past 10 years.
Jason is also a registered acupuncturist practicing at Clayton Heights Sports and Therapy Centre since 2014.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He also has a strong passion for riding motorcycles and fishing. He also volunteers on a regular basis with his local church and in his community. You will often see him riding on his motorcycle and scooter around town, or out on the local lakes and rivers fishing.
